Good choice! My mom got me the Leica D-Lux 2 last year as a graduation present. It is basically the same as the Panasonic DMC-LX 1. I love that camera.
yeah.. the zoom in and zoom out mechanism dont seem to be very responsive.. is this normal?
if you mean it could be faster, you're right. I appreciate the manual controls though.
yeah.. seems like more options available. but ive tested it against canon -- canon wins in terms of coloration, simplicity, and details... lumix is only ahead by the availability of custom settings and the wide angle, the pictures, compare to canon, are somehow less in coloration and details
